Place Mohammed V and the Central Market are roughly a quarter of an hour away on foot, the Habous quarter is about a kilometre away and the Hassan II Mosque is an eight-minute drive.
Its four room types, decorated in a modern style, range from the 27 m² double room to the 36 m² family room for four. Every room is air-conditioned and soundproofed, with a city view, a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, a seating area, a fridge and a flat-screen TV, and a lift serves all floors.
For meals, the hotel has a restaurant serving traditional and local cuisine, a pizzeria and a bar, and a buffet breakfast is served every morning. Mohammed V International Airport is 27 km away by road, about 24 minutes by car when traffic is light. Trains leave from level -1 of Terminal 1 roughly every hour between 04:50 and 22:50, reaching Casa-Voyageurs in 35 minutes or Casa-Port in 43 minutes. From there the hotel is 2 km from Casa-Voyageurs and 1.6 km from Casa-Port, around 20 minutes on foot or a few minutes by petit taxi. If you're driving, the A3 motorway is 4 km away and parking at the hotel is free. Around town, the tram stops at Place des Nations-Unies, 1.3 km away, and petits taxis are everywhere: just ask the driver to use the meter.
The Habous quarter, about a kilometre away, is the first walk to take: laid out from 1916, it is full of stalls selling babouches, djellabas, ceramics and copper teapots, and is home to the Mahkama du Pacha and the Bennis pastry shop. To the north, Place Mohammed V and the Art Deco facades of the city centre are best photographed between 9 and 10 am, and the Central Market has fish, spices and small seafood restaurants. Two kilometres away, the Villa des Arts, an Art Deco villa from 1934, shows Moroccan and international contemporary art, while the old medina, calmer than those of Fès or Marrakech, begins by the clock tower. The Hassan II Mosque, built over the water, is an eight-minute drive: non-Muslims can visit only on a guided tour at set times, with shoulders and knees covered. In the evening, the Corniche and Aïn Diab beach, 6 km away, are the place to watch the sunset. Spring and autumn are the most pleasant seasons to visit.
